Hey guys, Im looking to buy an electric cooling fan but I want some opinions and questions on them. Are their any that bolt up to factory settings? I dont want something that looks universal and that it has the look of not going with the car. Any opinions on what I shoud get? I live in Las Vegas btw, so temps in the 110 is not rare, so I need something good for sure, thanks!

I'd imagine judging by your screen name that you have a '04 Cobra??
If so you might get better results posting this thread in the "SVT" or "4.6" forum.

I see in another forum that you've got your hands on a '93 Cobra! Congrats
Being that as it may the best Electric Fan setup is this...
Mark VIII, new here or hit the boneyard!
http://www.rockauto.com
Look a Fan up for a '98 Mark VIII $ 149.79 + freight.

Get this fan controller kit Part# FK-35, $ 109.95 + freight.
http://www.dccontrol.com

EDIT: A 3G, minimum 130A Alt.w/wiring would be nice to have also, if you don't already have one installed!

lol, sorry about not specifiying on a vehicle
But your right, its for a 1993 Cobra with a 5.0

How clean of an install does those MarkVIII fans make? Any type of rating of air flow in CFM?
Thanks

I second the Delta Current controller - it's the best around; nothing else even compares. www.dccontrol.com They sell fans too. I use one with a SPAL dual 11" fully shrouded set up. Cool as a cucumber.

another vote for what LastFox and Michael said - if i had the money and alternator, i would do the same. other fans might fall short in your heat. dont stand in front of the car - the fan will suck your pants off.

i do believe you will have to cut the fan shrouding a bit to get it to work - what i've read.

good luck.

I love my ramchargers dual fan but you do have to fit it also. Never and I mean never gets above 185.

As clean as you want it to be. FYI, the Mark VIII is definately THE best electric fan out there for the Foxbody. If you disagree you probably never had one.
