Electric Fuel Pump. where do i mount it?

so this is what i have planned...tell me if it makes since...
tank to pump using stock line, pump to front of the car(engine comp) steel braided line to a cansiter filter on lower finderwell, then 3 foot line up to carb.
is that right?

Most electric pumps are pretty noisy. Especially the lower pressure ones which tend to operate at a lower frequency.

Mounting makes all the difference in the world. I used rubber-insulated clamps along with a rubber-foam sleeve to mount my pump and you can still hear it clearly.

You really want to mount the electric pump near the tank. Typically the electric pumps are better at pushing as to where the mechanical pumps are better at pulling.
