Electric oil pressure gauge

what is the best way to install a real oil pressure gauge, can i splice into the stock sender or will i need a new one?

gauge will most likely be an autometer on an a-pillar gauge pod

new gauge will come with it's own sender no spicing allowed.

from my experiences with electrical gauges they are mad easy to intall but the directions from autometer arent good really but you can call them and tell them the year of the car and most of the time they tell you exactly how to do it.
