There is an electric dragster doing 6's in the 1/4. An electric motor can put down more power with less weight in a smaller space than a gas engine. The only drawback of an electric motor is range and the weight of batteries. I think it's pretty cool and I welcome electric cars into the future.

Make sure you have a good sound system in the car. Record a Ferarri's engine sounds. Insert into system. Play it as you drive around.

Yeah thats definatly a lot, but when gas cars first came out most people couldnt afford them either, but as technology developes the prices will keep going down, especially when the car actually has similar competition

I don't think that electric cars will be the "thing of the future." Right now it looks to be Hydrogen, but only time will tell.

I would love the see the look on a dude's face, with his "bad ass" exhaust, after getting waxed by a car that barely made a sound.

Yeah, but gas is replacable, unfortunatly gas isnt so I dont think electricity would ever get that bad...but maybe im wrong

...not replaceable , I mean there is a limited source of gas (cant think of the damn word) we cant make more gas, when its gone its gone, we can however keep creating things like electricity, hydrogen and those other alternative fuel sources....

We have not even begun to scratch the Surface of Oil Reserves left in the World yet. Dont forget that Combustion Engines can run on many things too. I think Electric Cars are much more Toxic to the Environment as the Batteries are Toxic and give of very Toxic gasses with charge and discharge cycles, plus you plug it in and most powerplants are burning coal to make electricity.

I agree but those oil reserves dont do much when were not drilling from them. Granted the tree huggers have a lot to do with that, but eventually it will run out, and when it does there is no way its coming back for a loonnnnggggg time. So eventually we will rely on some other fuel source

Heckuva golf cart. Reminds me of electric slot cars (super fast considering their size - scale speed must be hundreds of miles per hour).
