Electrical Electrical “Snapping” in Engine Bay

Was checking my timing and before I did a thing with the hood open I heard an electrical “snapping” like sound. I assume it’s a “miss” somewhere - but not sure how to diagnose it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Open the hood in the dark with the engine running, look for arcing at the plug wires.

Was arcing on the intake manifold.
