You never said how many amps the drain is.
Pin-1 on EEC is KAM (Keep Alive Memory), it's hot all the time.

I shouldn't say this as I will jinx the living F outta myself, but I think I got it. While checking the ECU I found a lovely sct chip installed. Although I was worried about the 250 horsepower I would lose by removing it....I removed it. Car sat since Friday and fired right up today. Hoping somehow this was my culprit. Time will tell.....

Car actually runs better without the chip....

It appears that the SCT module needs power to keep it's memory. I think the newer ones might use flash memory.
I know some of the J3 port devices have battery backup (Quarterhorse). One reason I never went that route.
