electrical problem

one day my radio, speedo, odometer and mileage clock, power mirrors, all stopped working. the fuse in position 8 was blown and now fouls any fuse you put in. any ideas?

Make sure that there are NO bare wires under the dash rubbing any metal. check the clutch pedal and brake pedal wires are known to rub against them and blow fuses.

The fuse 8 feed to the cluster is lt green/yellow. Pull the cluster and see if it's chafed any place.

Otherwise you will have to disconnect each item on the circuit and replace the fuse. Then plug each item in till the fuse blows.
