1990 Foxbody with 5.0
Can someone please tell me where this sensor should go. I recently installed a cold air intake. This sensor was inside the stock air box.

That is the ACT or air charge temperature sensor. Usually mounts in the #5 intake runner on the lower intake. If the car it tuned then you can put it in the air box or in the CAI tubing.

That will work but realize the ECU is factory programmed for the expected temps in the #5 runner so unless you can tune the car it’s not going to be optimal in the CAI tube.

I also noticed a performance chip on the ECU port, I'll see if I still have the picture. Thanks for the info
