Anyone around here running an electronic boost controller on their turbo car? What are you using, what do you think of it, and do you wish you had bought anything different?

Let me know, as I will be in the market for one soon. I have done some research, but want to hear what you local guys have to say so maybe I can meet up with some of you to check the controllers out first hand.

I run a Greddy Profec B II Boost Controller. Works great for what I need. Has a High boost setting for my race gas tune, and a low setting for pump.

The new gauge / controller from AEM is nice for $300.00. It has high and low boost setting, overboost warning and a scramble boost feature. It is built into a 2 5/8 Digital boost gauge and has a remote valve to mount near the wastegate.

Yeah i believe the blitz sbc-id is one of the higher end ones you should shoot for. Or idealy have your ems control your boost.

Thanks for the input.

The Blitz is one of the units I was really looking into. It is a bit higher end unit, but does have dual solenoids for holding boost pressure very accurately.

As for the AEM, that one really had me interested, since it mounts as a standard gauge. But I made the mistake of reading about it on the AEM forums where people post problems and need help. Going to the problem page first was probably the wrong thing to do cause nobody on there was talking about how well it worked, only what wasn't working.

AllFordPerf.... have you had any customers use the AEM?
