Hey Dave,

I will be showing up with some friends also. Some will be showing up at Elmers and I think some later at Portland Meadows. I don't have an exact count. I am thinking about 5 to 10 Corvettes.

Thanks for promoting this, I believe it is an important event!

Patrick - thanks man. This is probably the most rewarding event the Wranglers do each year. For me anyhow. See you there my friend.

I want to thank all of the folks that showed up and made this event a huge success. My wife and I were not able to attend for good reasons. At 6:00am we got the call from my son that his wife was in the hospital. At 2:00pm this afternoon we got the greatest gift God could have given us. Our first grandbaby, Grace Kennedy Webster came into the world weighing in at 6lbs 9 ounces and 19 inches long. It was a long wait but well worth it. Unofficial reports put the toy drive participation at 160 - 175 cars. The count of Mustangs was around 58. Kudos to all of you who helped us blow the lid off of this thing. Last year we had 85 cars total. Thanks to John and Repostyle for coming. Sorry I didnt get to meet you guys. I heard the pile of gifts was amazing. My hats off to all who took part in this great event.

What a great event. Great turnout thanks to some nice weather. Order some more weather like this for next year and the number will double again!

No pics of the cars, but here's the result:

I have two pics of the cars, my battery died on my camera right after, but it was a lot of fun.

Yeah, there were definatly more cars than last year, I heard one cop say to another cop as we (me and my Dad) passed by say 171. not sure if that was total or just what had passed by him at that time, but there were definatly a few more blocks of cars behind me.

My pics are on my camera still which I just put on the charger, but I'll have them up shortly. There was another 20-30 cars or so that showed up after I took them.

P.S. Congrats Dave that's great news! Any pics? I know the first days they look like ET so maybe wait a couple days till the proud parents get home and settled then take the pictures

I had an awesome time! Got there a little late so I only gotta chance to check out cars and meet people when we were lining up. Lots a sweet cars and got a chance to meet some cool people. It was a pretty awesome sight seeing all the cars rolling out and having cops blocking people of like we was the president rolling thru! Was also pretty cool to watch kids and adults oohing and aahing over the cars...and even had some taking pics with there cell phones. I will definitely be doing it again next year!

HAHA, no fumes are my favorite part, I just had too much coffee at Elmers and I spotted a port-a-potty. I kept thinking I could run into the lobby at the track, but I didn't know exactly when we were taking off It's all good though, I got back in line a little farther back.
