The emergency brake light was coming on and off what seemed to be in random patterns yesterday. Today, it won't turn off. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong? My car is an '88 N/A. I haven't played with the handbrake at all until the light started coming on. Please help!
It is probably just the little switch that is by the ebrake handle. Take off the console piece and you can adjust it to where it will shut off that light.
that light is for more then just the Ebrake. It also serves as a warning for you braking system. Check the fluid level in your master cyl. Its probably low. Dont just drive around with it on. Figure out why its on first.
