My 89 GT vert just past with flying colors . Emmisions man said it has better #'s than some of the newer cars he's done.
Iirc, pre-90 mustangs have looser limits needed to pass emissions, in 1990, things started to get more strict which is why ford started revising the ho camshaft.
So when it comes to molding mustangs, it's easier to make a 1988 pass the sniffer than a 1992. Same car, but different limits used
I just had mine tested and passed on Arizona's required dyno test. Mods are in my sig, and the Magnaflow spun-metallic cats have 3 years and 23,000 miles on them.
