Engine and exhaust questions

kinda new to this engine stuff...so...bare with me ^^

I have a 4.6 gt 2v engine..i was wondering if there are ways to make it a 4v like a cobra engine? and if you can is that the only difference between the 2 engines or is there more?

also i wanted to do the side wxhaust for a 99 gt 4.6...anyone know of any good kits or leads for me? i heard borla did the cobra r exhuast but i cant seem to find the kit online..and also spintech makes one..but also cant really find to much info on it..

the differance isthe heads and all the timing stuff. your best bet is to find a donor cobra.

Unless you're really set on the 4V conversion you'll probably be better off in the long run to add bolt on's to your 2V. You can get allot faster for the same money by keeping your 2V.

An N/A Cobra block will be aluminum. The crank is also forged. You're better off dropping in a complete 4V engine rather than trying to make one out of your GT.
