engine balance question

gota 351w got srp pistons,stock crank,eagle i beam rods.....if i was to change to eagle h beams ,,do you think i would feel a vibration???the motor was bal. to i beams i just bent a rod and wanted to change them???thanks for any advise....

it wouldn't hurt. with a balanced and blueprinted engine you will be able to turn higher rpms without too many worries. but i really don't know if it will viberate

It will be a problem since the engine's Rotating Assy. was originally balanced with the I Beam's. The H Beams are a differen't weight (Heavier) so it probably will cause an inbalance and vibration. May want to get the Rotating Assy. rebalanced with H Beams. It would probably be a smart thing. As for fit the H Beam's should bolt right in since your engine is not a stroker. If it was a Stroker there would be more nothching required for the beefier rod.

hey 408 stroker ,,,i want to build a 408 but i need more info ,,like notching the block etc..pm me i will give you my e mail address so we can talk more about it....thanks i dont know how to pm,,i think im just going to sell mt old motor like it is...
