Is the engine bay bigger in a 69-70 car than a 67-68 car? I was wondering if its easier to fit a 460 in a 69-70 than a 67-68? I know you can get it into the earlier cars but would things fit better in the later cars?

F that. Unless you go balls to the wall, SB is where it's at. Trying to start the car today, and I have an itch I have needed to scratch for months. A 460 guys with squeeze that I was running faster than when I tore her down. In a 69 fastback says it runs 6.30's, which I know to be a lie. He has a big cam, from the sound of it, and edelbrock heads, and still only runs 6.90's on the 125 shot. you really need to make alot of power to offset the weight.
