I have been trying to figure out exactly what this code is for and i think i finally narrowed it down. The possible problems for this code to appear are, neutral safety switch, clutch depressed when testing, ac/defroster left on during test or bad ac system. I tihk my problem is the airconditioning system. the clutch on the compressor dosn't engage like it is supposed to(i am out of freon and i bet i have a leak like all the mustangs that i have owned did) How do i tell the computer that i don't have airconditioning so this code goes away. Will simply unplugging it work or is there something more that needs to be done.

Proper sequence is: A/C off, Clutch depressed and trans in neutral. Don't get worried, because code 67 doen't affect how the engine runs, It's just a warning to let you know that things are not optimal for the other tests the computer runs. For instance, the cylinder balance test could give a false reading if the A/C was on.

I am just worried because i think my code reader won't let me do KOER test until all KOEO tests are passing.

That's why my 5 cent paper clip beats your $25 scanner.

See Here's the link to dump the computer codes with only a jumper wire or paper clip and the check engine light, or test light or voltmeter. I’ve used it for years, and it works great.
