need help! Engine in my 93 lx ssp (5.0, aod) is cutting out at 4,500 like it is hitting a rev limiter. I have stock ignition except for an msd blaster coil. you guys think this is electrical or fuel. it runs fine until about 4,500 rpm under WOT and then it starts to act like a rev limiter has kicked in. not sure if it is fuel starvation and then the computer is taking away the spark or if the spark is giving out. any suggestions?

Do the standard tune up items: plugs, wires, rotor, cap, fuel & air filters. If you still have the problem, replace the TFI, since they tend to fail at high RPMs on a warm engine.
