I'm driving my 05 GT to work today and the engine bogs down and "Engine Fail Safe" comes up on the dash. I looked in the owner manual and it mentioned this for engine over heating.. Problem is the resivour was full and the coolant temp was cool. So WTF is this all about!!!??? I had it towed to the dealer and I'm not happy. It's only got 6,000 miles on it. It shouldn't be going bad already!!!

Might want to try running a search for "engine fail safe" over in the 2005 Mustang GT section:

G'luck.

It was the Throttle control (potentiometer). Hopefully that's all. She seemed to be running good on the way home.
