a few months back i had a new engine installed in my 01gt. it's a jasper rebuilt engine. on tuesday i was driving and i noticed some smoke from the hood. i pulled over and checked it out, the radiator fluid was leaking. i bought some new fluid but the engine was too hot to open the cap and fill it. the fluid was still above the fill line and i was like 2 miles from my friends so i figured id go over there and let it cool down. as i was pulling into his apartmant complex, i saw a lot of smoke so i checked it out, my engine was on fire. i took it to the dealership that installed the engine (i didn't tell them that i knew it was leaking), and they said that the radiator fluid being empty would not have caused the fire but rather that it was caused by the wire going from the battery to my sub box. does it make sense that that would have caused it, or is it the radiator? it also was very hot out that day, like 80-90 degrees outside.
