Ok without buying a new harness I would like to replace the broken connectors with new ones. Its got that problem where the "ears" are broken off which leaves them with a chance to come off while driving.

thanks
Allen

Resto houses or FFI might be your best bet for something cost effective.

Good luck.

Don’t cut the existing connectors off and solder the pigtails on. If you are very clever, you will find that the connectors come apart so that you can remove the pins. A very small screwdriver releases the lock in the front of the center insert, while another small screwdriver inserted in the back pushes it out. Once the center insert is out of the connector shell, the pins come out easily by pulling on the wire from the rear. Some connector shells will add an extra lock for each pin that is released from the front side.

New pins are available from AutoZone in a $5 electrical pin kit for Fords. Other auto parts stores will carry the pins if they carry the Standard Motor Products line of parts.
