Engine ID help!!

Sorry guys if you already have went over this before, but I typed in the only numbers i found on the engine. I have found i think the casting # E7TE so I take it to mean that its a 1987 truck engine, but i dont know what type of truck so i dont know if its flat tappet or roller. I did my best to research this before posting but oh well. I was thinking about a 331 rebuild. I'm open to all questions and comments.

well its definaltely not an 87, but it might be a roller, pop the intake and take out a lifter and tell us!!

It could definitely be a 1987 casting. That's the same casting as the factory 302 roller block in the Mustangs.
