check this out...

we got the m otor in a few weeks ago and now that we fabricated a radiator support we got to bolt on the front end of the engine.

-Randall's Rack Power Steering pump
-smog reducer pulley (for the 1989 5.0 HO)
-Classic Auto Air condensor

wiring will still need to be completed

He kept me in the garage till 12:30 last night

I have to say, these Mustangs are a lot easier to work on than my '69 Vette project And his will be running before mine.

after much frustration of a leaking water pump and intake manifold, the engine turned over today. without mufflers i enjoyed the roar of the motor and rumble in my chest haha

the final results (wiring not perfect yet and no export brace)

Look at all that room in there. I just put my 351 in, and I wish I had some of your extra space. Bay looks awesome though.

Is that an aluminum thermostat housing? If so where you get it?

yes it is and i got it from the local napa shop, thats where a lot of the small parts were from

my70stang - nice pics. I noticed your not running a heater. I like the plug you used - was that a NAPA part as well? Also did you just run the bypass hose, and plug the other outlet from the waterpump? I'll be running my car with out a heater as well.

well we have the air kit and everything, but my dad thought we could fix all of that up when we install the unit. we plugged the water pump and heater hoses. we really just want it to drive around for now because i started school and hockey is right around the corner

however we ran into another snag crapola we tried bleeding the brakes and i guess they decided to piss me off and leak on the rear end WOO HOO, just another day it doesnt drive
