I am about ready to pull my engine and wanted to know what the best way to unbolt the engine mount. Should I unbolt it from the motor or unbolt it from the chassis. I ask because looking at a pic of the mount it looks like the bolts bolt to the chassis at a 45 degree angle and I am not sure if it will catch on the chassis when I pull it with them still bolted to the motor. Thanks Guys!

i unbolted from the chasis (k-member) if you jack the car up and get under there you can see the bolts pretty easily, only 1 on each side. soak em eith some lube first and they should come right off

your never going to reach the block bolts while its in the car. there are too many brackets in the way to get on them. unbolt it from the k-member. spray some lube like urban said. might be a bit hard to break it but they turn pretty easy once u do.

There are only two 15/16th nuts that need to be removed which are located in the motor mount area.
