Engine Problem

When I put my car in gear the engine starts to try to stall out but when I move it in to park or netural it seems to run fine any have any thoughts on what could be causeing it to stall when I move it into drive or reverse.

Yea, any one of a dozen things. You'll have to be a little more specific. Try removing the air cleaner lid for starters and see if the choke plate isn't closed and blocking off the air flow.

chokes open I noticed that my coil was very hot so i switched it out with another coil that we had but it really didn't change anything

Does it immediately die, or does it just run like crap when this happens?

it could be the idle when i put my car into drive or reverse my idle goes down and have to rev it to keep it going....

well 2 of my spark plugs were lose seems to work fine after I tightend them up
