ok i bought a set of gt40 heads that are done and a ford f303 cam and rollers.what else besides gaskets i already have the timing chain, water pump, arp head studs. what else do i need to know or do im going to put a new gt40 intake manifold and 70mm throttle body and spacer

If they are the 'P' heads you'll need different headers. Otherwise you should be pretty good to go. Just make sure you have all the proper torque specs and sequences as well as some assembly lube handy. That lower intake sequence is funny, not intuitive. Take your time, lay out your pushrods/rockers etc. in order so you know where to put them back, or label them. I recommend laying the accessory bracketry in order too, if you don't know how they go back together it can be kinda frustrating to try to figure out. Mark the distributor location and all that fun stuff.
All in all it sounds like you're good to go however.

Just headers designed for those heads. I've never fiddled with them myself, it's just the buzz you hear when people talk about gt40p's. I think it has something to do with being able to access the spark plugs. :D

Depends on what you consider good hp and torque. It'll defanently put a hurt on the majority of the stuff out there. I believe that F cam is good for blowers too which is something you could consider in the future.
