At 60 miles an hour my RPM was at about 2,800. Does that sound right to you guys?
I thought my C4 trans in my 66 Coupe was not going into 3rd gear, so I drove it to a local trans place and they knew about the older C4's with the dots instead of D,2, and 1. And they explained how it worked and yes it is going into 3rd, but again at 60 miles an hour it's a 2,800 RPM.
Can anyone verify this?
I believe the stock gears are 3:50 but I will have to check that out to verify.
