I rebuild my motor it a 306 roller block,Is it normal to have blue smoke out of the tail pipe after 10 minutes of run time? it have moly face rings with zero miles on it.will it stop smoking when I break it in?

if you used synthetic oil to break it in it will have some smoke i would use non-synthetic for the break in period then change it also if you have new valve seals and new rings with the proper end gaps on them and the rings in there right alignment it should not smoke after about 1 minute unless you have synthetic oil
