interesting

OK I think I may see the trouble...

I will get a chance to explore further Sat.

My car is up on stands went out for a look see tonight...

my engine is shifter far left to where the header is "just" touching...

I am able to turn to the left fine for the little I drove it...

I turned far left and tied held it in place and peeked over the fender...cool and dark out...it appears that mine is touching also...

SO........

I will investigate and take many pics sat and see what comes...

I have manual steering...

interesting find...I may not have discovered for a month or two...

see pics

Here are some pics...

you can see the engine shifted by room on drivers side, and touching on pass side...

you can see 2 shots from below wheels straight.

notice

Well if you notice my engine is not centered...it is more to the pass side. It is actually touching the inner fenderwells on the pass wide. I am sure that if I centered it I would not have much room to turn either...

So now I am wondering how mine will act once centered...

no

lazyness on installation..
the shop put them in and loosened the mounts to ease installation...tightened them, and the lowerd car and realized it was not centered...I said leave it I'll fix it later...I guess I would have caught the steering if they would have centered it.

I have only driven the car home from the shop easily as the front drivers wheel cylinder went out while at shop, noticed it on the rack...

So waiting to decide on discs this week.., or next...

now it appears I have a steering issue to deal with.

maybe...

Starting to think I should have done as mustang monthly...got cast iron HIPO manifolds...

They would have had enough flow for my engine...
