i just purchased a slightly used 2001 gt engine to replace the the blown engine in my 2000 gt that ford voided the warranty on but that is another story. what are the differences between the 2000 engine and the 2001. so far i can see the water pump is different and the injectors are 24# and the valve covers are designed different. is everything supposed to be like this? any feedback would be appreciated

On a stock motor, the injectors are 19lbs. The compression ratio is 9.47:1, less dish of a piston. The blocks on 01+ are Romeo instead of Windsor's.
