Engine stalling for no reason...

OK this has happened twice to me, about 2 months apart. I will get up and get in my car to go to school, the stang' will start up and run fine until I get to the first stop sign. As soon as I come to a stop, clutch in the floor, it dies on me. It will do this for the first 2 stops then it won;t happen again for a month or so.

Any ideas? Is this a sign of a bad IAC?

Thanks!

Sounds like the IAC. Mine will not stay running though until it warms up a bit. I have to keep it revved up so it won't die but yours may be the initial stages. You may try cleaning it with some carb cleaner but it is only a temp fix. You can pick up a new one for about 40 bucks at Autozone or Napa.

sounds like the iac, mine would do it when the car was cold, I cleaned it but that only fixed it for a fex weeks, discount didnt carry it and autozone would have had to order it, 51.99 at napa. Might be a good idea to try cleaning it first, if it fixes the problem for a little while you know its probably the iac.
