Hello, I have a 97 GT 5-speed with high miles. I also have a 4.6 engine out of a 98 GT 5-speed. I have heard that this is not an exact interchange. Does anyone know if this will drop right in or will I have to change some parts around? Thank you in advance for any help.
If i were to say, i'd say its a direct replacement. Only difference between the 97 and 98 is the 98 has 10 more horsepower. All they did there was advance base timing Everything else is the same ol' non-PI junk box like i have
