I have an 89 GT with 302 carb swap, that I purchased several years ago and last year threw a rod, its been parked since for a year not running and I recently acquired a 91 GT vert with a rebuilt efi motor with a couple of bolt ons. Do you guys think its better to swap the 91 motor to the 89 or to sell the 91 as is and rebuild the 89 GTs motor with the cash from it....what would be more cost effective....i am keeping the 89 for sure, getting rid of the 91 vert...i have too many toys.... and keeping the carb set up...its not my daily.....The 89 has a edelbrock intake and carb, msd,bbk shortys, Flows, H pipe no cats, so no major parts have to be bought for the efi to carb swap.....the 91 motor has less than 500 miles on it......any estimates for an engine rebuild??....im in Dallas if that helps any...... nothing wild just a mild street/strip car....350-400hp at most, i found a mustang shop that will swap the engine and keep the rolling 91 shell as payment.....????
