Engine swap

I know this question has probaly been asked a million times but Im new o this forum and Im going to ask any way. Does anyone know how to swap a V6 to a V8(5.0) in the cincinnati region, ohio, kentucky, or indiana. Also want to get the engine built a little it.

do a search, a couple guys have done it. its quite costly, i suggest just buying a v8 and save yourself the hassle

I replied to your post on the V6 section... and its not as costly as some people think if you own a 94-95 V6

its really not that expensive, the reason i didnt but a gt at first is cause they were still rather expensive, over 5500, didnt wanna pay that much for a car that I was just gonna rip apart, if you go carbed that will save you tones of money, its also easier, if you go with a 5.0 you will not have to change anything immediely, just the bellhousing, suspension and rear end will come later, but will work for now, I say go for it.

I've seen you sig in the past and always thought it was just a joke the 2 cylinder conversion. So you have actually done the swap from v6- 5.0?

yeah i did the swap... no joke... i did the swap for under 800 bucks including a cobra intake and e-cam. now I have AFR heads. 3.73 gears in a brand new 8.8 i built. Car looks dead stock.. Go to my webpage.
