I was just looking for an answer. The question...... I understand about the negative issues with the 86gt engine and have a 85 gt engine also. Would it be worth the effort to swap the bootom end of the 86 for the 85 keeping the heads on the 85 and putting the FI and stuff on the 85. So basically swapping bottom ends. Both motors have 100k miles plus both run good. It seems like alot of work for minimal gains besides the notched piston issues and that e5>e6 but will I really notice the changes?
