Any reason your looking to swap just that engine? why not an aftermarket crate engine? Whats the condition on your current engine? is a supercharger or some spray an option? I think you'd get more bang for your buck from simple power adders but I am unaware of your current situation

the engine i have now is old and tired and want to s/c but don't want the high compression that a PI head swap would give. so i'm just lookin to swap the whole engine but a newer stocker and run a lil boost. i don't really wanna spend a ton on a crate engine.

Unless you can get one for cheap, I would advise to buy a built shortblock and find some cheap PI heads (used or new at Summitt) and sell the stock PI cams and upgrade the cams with a nice N/A or blower cam depending on what you want with the car. For probably $4k (if not less) you can have a 300rwhp Mustang with the room to grow if you want to boost it.

You will need the ECU anyways, I think, but you can find them anywhere.

If you are on a tight budget, I would take time and so some research and find a good low mileage one for cheap. Here in Orlando you can get them for less that 800 with low miles and good compression.
