I have a fresh 308 that we just put together with forged pistons, stock rods, and stock crank. I am going to run WP roush 200 heads,E303 cam,1.6 rockers,70mm TB, 76mm c&L,24 lb injectors and cobra intake. i also have some BBK equal legth headers with flowmasters(and H pipe) and a BBK fender CAI. my question is i have a buddy with a Edelbrock Performer RPM intake (w/ ½” spacer) ported to match the Edelbrock 75mm TB that i could do a little trading with him on cause he wants my cobra intake before i put it on, but would that be to much with my combination?

I havent dropped in the car yet so any suggestions on what i have done so far wrong or right would be great. I am new to ford and EFI so i am just trying to put something together, still havent decided on what size stall i am going to use with my AOD

also i am thinking of going with 4.10 gears with a 225/55/16" tire on the road and a little taller tire at the track( i have a set or 3.73 and 4.30 also)anyone out there running them , if so how do you like them.

I run 410 and I hate the for around town first gear is useless. I'd go with the 373's. as far as the intake I think the rpm intake is meant for higher rpm motors than yours.

with the shift pattern on an AOD wouldnt be better if 1st was really short so you wouldnt have to a 1-2-1 hold

Depends what company you want for a stall.I have a Precision Ind's with a 2800 stall with a stock cam.Its a liittttle to much for the stock cam so for an E cam 2800-3000 would be perfect.Guys running Edge converters and stock cams swear by the 3000 stall. So I would go bigger.Call up the company tell them your mods and Engine and they will recommend the rite size stall for you.
As far as gears go if you dont do alot of highway driving go with the 410's otherwise 373's.
But "dont" forget a tranny cooler when getting a stall or you will burn out your tranny! There cheap!(Tranny coolers)
