Hey everyone, I'm new to StangNet but I have been reading these forums for a long time trying to brush up on my knowledge :) .

Now a little history on the car...I own a 90LX, 5spd with 217,ooo km(134,000 miles) on the clock. I bought it from a friend who just had the engine rebuilt with an e303, tranny rebuilt, new clutch installed among many other things.

It has developed a bad vibration from 2800-3500rpm. It will happen in neutral with the clutch disengaged so from what I have been reading it is not a driveline issue but an engine issue. Now my first thought was to replace the stock balancer that has 134k on it. The rubber was starting to protrude and from what I read I thought this would be my best bet. Well after replacing it, there is no difference, other then a shiny new balancer.

Now I come asking for advice...Where should I go know? Flywheel? Clutch?

Thanks in advance

Jamie
