After four months of parts breakage and disappointment I finally got the car back last night. Now I just have to break in the new block, dial in the tune with some help from SCT and wait until my finances recover enough to drop in a blower.

Info: .020 forged shortblock w/ 10.5cc dished pistons, I-beam rods, GT crank (courtesy of TSS Racing), Canton windage tray, billet oil pump gears and crank trigger, VT blower cams, Patriot Stage III heads, FRPP shorty headers, Bassani Catted X, soon to be installed Borla catback (in the garage), Team Breed Valve Covers, C&L Upper Intake, Pro M 87MM MAF, 30# injectors, Walbro 255 lph fuel pump (soon to be Aviator pump, also in the garage), Jegs SFI harmonic balancer, UPR idler pulley, damn list just goes on and on....

I think its Pro M's new intake system. Its really nice looking but they think so too, pretty expensive. GT2000, your car looks great, got any sound clips with those blower cams on there. Cant wait to see the numbers. What blower are you plannin on going with???

Very nice. How much of the work did you do yourself? Also what kind of head gaskets, exaust gaskets, and head bolts did you use?

I didn't do much - I felt like I was in the parts department. I worked on the first re-assembly, the shop dropped the longblock in for me and I worked on the final reassembly when we all stayed until 10:00 PM to finish it up. All the gaskets are Ford and we used ARP head studs - which make it a pita to get the heads back out with the motor in the car. It's possible, but a pain.

Best guess based on insight from CobraKiller & Bryan @ TSS Racing - around 9.25:1 or 9.5:1. We took some material off the edges of the pistons (around the dish - .020") and the heads have a lot of bowl work, so they're around 46CC (swirl dams removed), if I remember correctly.
