do you guys know those little engine breathers!? do they even add any HP. i hears someone say that they add 20HP ????????
I'm talking about the little things that are fitted on the engine Head.The things that look like small Filters...!!!

No they don't add any horsepower, and they aren't a real good idea since the PCV system helps to seal the rings by applying pressure to the back side of them.

plus they are illegal to have on a road that is driven on public roads. only CA enforces that though.

basically you take off your PCV valve and put a little filter where it was. people think it gives them more power. in reality it only helps if its an all out race motor.

the only time i have ever used a breather was on my turbo regal. those cars sucked oil into the intercooler with the stock pcv system. so thats the reason i used a breather.

on our cars it's not going to do anything.
