Ok, so I miss my car (which I gripe about a lot) since it's hasn't had an engine for a couple of years Well technically it has a shortblock in the corner of the garage with boxes of holiday decorations all over it. It's been sitting in the driveway for a couple of months since I've been meaning to organize the garage and push it back in. Well I should have the garage done this weekend and I had the thought of removing all the front end body parts and starting to go through and clean up, modify, rewire, whatever the whole front end since I won't be putting the engine in it anytime soon.

So here's the deal to sum it up. I want to work on the car but have very little money to do so. I'm not sure where to start, but I'd love input on what YOU guys would do if you were in my situation I want to find plenty of things to keep me busy and not cost tons of cash. Like I mentioned, this could be rewiring, running new cables, tubes and other things. Throw some projects at me and I'll do it! Only caveat being that I won't weld sheet metal, but I can weld easy stuff and I don't currently have any painting equipment but I might be able to borrow some things. Anything else goes since I have LOTS of time to do it

I will start by stripping the front body parts and probably the stock K-member as well since I plan to use an aftermarket one when the new motor eventually goes in. I'll start with these sad photos for kicks and continue to update as I go along. Man it's such a mess in there Help! I need ideas! And in case anyone was wondering, this was kind of inspired by Adam L's build thread.

Actually I just had the idea of using the new SN blog feature. I think I'll try it out with this project!

Does anyone have any links to instructions on removing the power steering pump and lines?
