yea maybe it was carbed, if it was carbed, would that mechanical fuel pump be necessary?? I'm def going fuel injected though... but i just left that lobe on there, and said **** it lol

looks good paul.

a 190 pump will work fine for you.

no you dont HAVE to have a mechanical fuel pump for a carb setup.....EX: Holley blue.. i have heard of some 88s having the old style cover!

Leaving it on there won't hurt a thing. Just make sure you cover the fuel pump hole with a block off plate.
