What two fields are you using on your MS for the triggering of your Water Meth? I am assuming MAP and TPS?

I wish there was a 3 field triggering system that you could apply CLT, so it doesnt enable it when the engine is still cold. I guess you could use MAP and MAT as triggers, so it only triggers when in boost and hotter intake temps. Im curious your thoughts on this...

I use rpm and map currently with no issue the cad warms up very quickly and I don't romp on it when it is warming up.

Lets just hope that nothing goes wrong somewhere in the chain of events where you aren't actually dumping that much water into your engine w/o the fire to burn it off. At 17 gallons per hour, there has got to be a literal monsoon happening inside your engine.

* what Steve's combustion chamber looks like...

One things for sure.....................The windshield washer fluid industry will definitely like you.

You've never said it yet since the conversion to my recollection........
Is it faster? Does it make more power?

You go through this whole debacle, and don't tell us whether it was worth it?.....What the hell is the matter with you?

I have barely started on my thing, and I KNOW that it'll be slower and make less power. I've already said a few times that it will cool as hell when I'm done.
You gotta keep the people informed......................Inquiring minds wanna know.

I dont think so Mike i called devils own and they confirmed that almost 70% of the water will flash off going through the blower.
As for power it felt really strong all the way up to red line even with a 10.2-1 AFR with all the extra meth spraying. AND i have run 10psi at 26* timing with no sign of detonation. The old setup started to really fall off around 4500, the new one never falls off I end up lifting when I see the shift light.
It will burn off the tires in second gear at wot even with the 3.08 final gear and 275nitto 555 tires.

I'm very happy so far very worth it and it looks much better install wise. (Even with my mad max approach)

You will need at least 14gph nozzle. Pre blower.
I didn't even see a temp drop from the 10gph nozzle.

Nice to hear that you finally got a MAT drop. I looked through my ProMeth kit and turns out Rodney hooked me up with a 10gph and a 14gph nozzle. Are you spraying washer fluid? I will start out with the 10gph nozzle and log some data and then move up from there. I'll be spraying VP M1 at 50/50 mix so I think my results will differ from yours a little. I know a lot of the meth/water gets steamed off the rotors so I'm not too worried.

I am spraying ww fluid, the -20* stuff supposedly it is 38% meth or so. My idea was to tune with cheap stuff its what i will most likely find on the shelf somewhere on my way to the track.

Had to replace a leaking water pump I guess it decided it had enough. New one is on just have to finish the engine dress and radiator. I didn't take any picture because we have all seen a water pump before.

Also I reviewed the datalog and realized that when spraying wmeth through the blower it makes more boost, go figure. New max pressure so far with a lightly tensioned belt 11.3psi thats about a 1psi increase. From what I've read the water makes the rotors seal better making more boost.

It wouldn’t be the cooler, denser air making more boost?

Does that reply have a slight tinge of sarchasm?

This is my " I didn't take physics in college, because I didn't even go to college" take on the process:

The water would be mostly burned off/vaporized by the time it's part of the intake air charge that's gonna get ignited...so....the wet air by itself is fattening up what the impellers are trying to squeeze by.
Fatter air forced through a fixed opening equates to more pressure.
The meth cools the charge, slows down the burn, and increases the available octane to control the detonation..
That ingredient is where the potential additional power comes from...
It's the best thing to come along for controlling detonation, and adding power since,........since,.....well since water meth was used in Messerschmitts in WW II

Why one of you "thrifty" guys haven't bought my water meth injection system from me at the bargain basement price I'm selling it for is beyond me.

Cooler air expands less, typically lowering the boost but supplying the same amount of useable oxygen.

No, not sarcasm, just curiousity.

But @CarMichael Angelo I took a lot of physics and chemistry in college (not to sound arrogant, either, please don’t take it that way) but cooler molecules “move around” less and are able to have more fit in a smaller space. In a room, you can have more people dance the twist than a tango, I guess is a lame comparison. So by that, I figured the denser air would create more boost.

Hmm... I think either the wb sensor or unit is going bad... acting funny on really cold starts. Oh well that's life for ya, I need to make sure it didn't tap the header.

Fri morning I am taking it up to the tire place in town to have all 4 re balanced and an alignment done. I swapped the cc plates and have been driving it..... sooo probably a good idea to make sure I'm not chewing up the tires.
I have a slight vibration that annoys the out of me I can see where I think I lost a stick on weight.

Took the car for an 80 mile drive today... went ok, I am unhappy with the alignment how hard is it to get the wheel centered? Also the car is all over the road... WTF

The wideband is going bad.. I don't know why just out of the blue it's all glitchy... I still need to check the wiring but I'm not holding my breath.

Tires are officially bad, looking at them when they had the car in the air dates on the tires are all over 8yrs old. Dry rotting

Icing on the cake, the heater core is leaking I smell sweet coolant.

Guess you'll be tearing it down sometime soon. The good thing is heater cores aren't all that bad in our cars.

Typically,.........( which means most of the time, in my case). Typically I end up answering my own queries/concerns by the time I finishing posting an update..

Let's takes this particular post as an example:

So,...the moral to the story here is..bad tires negate the benefit of a proper alignment. Sometimes completely defeating the purpose, especially if the bad tires have worn incorrectly.

I went through the same thing with the alignment as well. I now book mine first thing in the morning and ask to watch the process so they don't phuck it all up.

Did you recalibrate the sensor itself to the wideband module by pulling it out of the exhaust to open air and turning the key 3 times then reinstall. It recommends at least once a year. Speaking of which I need to do mine.

Well i call them bad fact is the car drives worse now than it did before the alignment. The tires look new save for the fact that they are dry rotting.

No i have not done this process, i will try it for sure. the wideband will go thru its HEAT cycle then display full rich AFR then HEAT followed by LS4.9 then HEAT then LS4.9 then full lean maybe some random numbers. After that it will work for a little bit, followed by another HEAT cycle some more glitchyness blah blah blah.... THEN I GET PISSED and start pressing the buttons on the gauge which causes it to immediately start working correctly until i stop pressing them..... FML.... Finally it will work correctly for about 20mins then this starts over.

I think its PHUCKED

I'm kidding.....but I gotta be skeptical of a bad alignment considering that these guys do alignments all day everyday.
The last car that I was in that darted all over the road was cured when it was aligned properly though,..so maybe you got a rookie in training doing yours.
Take it back.
