maybe?Does the possibility exist that a gasket has slipped or are there any foreign nozzles or obstacles in the path of #7?
the injector pairs are 1-6, 3-5, 4-7, 2-8
runner #7 has the bypass valve closest to it i suppose...

smooth wha?So may some smoothing around obstacles? I'm guessing that the fouling is not occurring during boost. You would likely feel or hear it.
Ahhh right right.Thats why i am going to check the wiring, i already moved the injector that was in this hole to cylinder #5 which was a clean plug.
I have changed plug, wire and coil pack... just removed the pcv system and went vented... we will see what happens.Sorry if I missed it, but have you verified that the plug is actually firing? My next guess would be to ask if it is fuel fouled or if it is oil(valve seal)?

no... i havent checked for it i guess i just assume it is fine... same fouling with different plugs, wires, and coils.... just the one cylinder..Have you seen spark at the plug?

I will take any and all advice
engine runs very strong, no issue i can pin down... the plug is not wet just sooted up... like excess carbon sooty its soft and wipes clean easily. Is the engine running bad? A wet plug Is typical of a plug that isn't firing,....And If you don't have all 8 cylinders firing, I'd have to think that you'd have a stumble/pop/backfire if one of the cylinders wasn't firing...
Maybe it's just idling fat because of poor distribution at idle,...and that said,..you shouldn't be able to have such a clean running low speed idle if that plug isn't doing the job....
That's what I'm saying,..you're not fouling plugs.engine runs very strong, no issue i can pin down... the plug is not wet just sooted up... like excess carbon sooty its soft and wipes clean easily.
As an experiment i removed the recirculating catch can and vented it, I also moved the MAT sensor to its original location and placed a "fresh air feed" directly into runner #4 so at idle and cruise it will hopefully help if there is any poor distribution...
I let it idle for an extended period this afternoon and did not notice any loss of idle quality after 20mins I will pull the plug in the morning and see if it is fouled..
