I did a test KOEO and I got a 67 c error code. Can anyone help me and tell me what it is? My car has been stumbling and bucking really bad at low RPMs. Can any one help. Thanks in advance.

No cure for your problem in fixing code 67...

Code 67 - clutch not depressed (5 speed) or car not in neutral or park (auto) or A/C in On position when codes where dumped. Possible neutral safety switch or wiring problem. You can generally ignore this code, since it has no effect on engine performance.

There is no information in your sig about your car. This helps us to help you to find your problems. Post the car year, model, and your mods in your sig and that will help.

Look for vacuum leaks caused by old hoses & vacuum lines that are cracked and weathered where they connect.

Mass Air cars: Clean the MAF - The MAF element is secured by 2 screws & has 1 wiring connector. To clean the element, remove it from the MAF housing and spray it down with electronic parts cleaner or non-inflammable brake parts cleaner (same stuff in a bigger can and cheaper too).

Go back and look at the two possible problem items I posted and check them.

You didn't mention a K&N air filter, but I'll guess that the Cold Air kit includes one of the kind that you oil. If the oil from the filter coats the MAF element, it will cause many of the problems that you are seeing.

I checked the vacuum lines, no cracks or leaks, and cleaned the MAF. All the sensors were replaced a couple of months ago and it had a complete tune up at the same time. Is there anything else that might be causing this problem? It seems like it's missing or something. Checked the timing and set it at 10* with the spout off. I also did a code scan KOER and got a 94 and 44. The smog pump and everything for it has been disconnected. Would that cause any problems also? Thanks again for all the help.

Fix for code 67

The way to get rid of code 67 is to put your car in neutral when running a scan. If it's not in neutral and you run the scan you'll get error code 67. If still there while in neutral- your nuetral switch is not working inside the transmission.
