Hi, so I have 4 02 sensor's so I was thinking of swapping them till I get rid of error codes.
Quick question, when doing a engine on diagnostic check should you have the car up to operating temp first, then shut it down, then restart it. Because otherwise is it could be normal to get some additional error codes like ect sensor out of range, because that code went away when I redid the test with the car warmed up.
Other question is could I splice and ground each ground wire from the o2 sensors under the car and run an additional wire from both sides to the chassis ground, just to eliminate the possibility of the 02's not being properly grounded.
f that doesn't work I am getting code 41 which right side right? So I am going to leave the left side(Driver side) as is, and swap the 02's on the right assuming one of my other two is good.
Oh I had my harness out so when I wired the o2's back up I had to re-route the wire, can someone let me know whether your o2 sensor wiring is routed down on the passenger side or the driver side, as this could possible be causing me additional grief that is if I have it backwards, thinking the right 41 code is one side when it may actually be the other. Just want to make sure I have that right! Thanks guys!!
If I could eliminate code 41, I think Code 13 may go away too!
Thanks again!!!
Assuming the ground wire is the black one for the o2's there are two white wires and a black one on each o2.
