estimate on install for springs

they make it seem easy-it aint and it aint safe.

I don't know what's so hard about it. I've done two of them and there is nothing difficult about it at all. A couple jacks, jack stands, and some simple hand tools is all it takes to do it. It's about a 2.5-3 hour job once you get the hang of it.

$40 for spring compressors and 2-3 hours u can do it urself, dont waste money and have a shop do it.

The SN95 cars do not require a spring compressor to change the springs. This is a misconception. If it's not required, then do not use it. They are dangerous so why mess with them if you don't have to?

true, but id u do need the spring commpressors there not that dangerous if u use them right.

The key is to make sure you have them on there so that they won't slip when you are tightening and loosening the compressor. I've seen a spring nearly fly out of a compressor on someone that was a mechanic for over 40 years and he knew what he was doing. I avoid using them unless they are just absolutely necessary.
