Well i live a ways out of town. When i first got my car i kinda sorta measured out a 1/4 mile on a back road and gave it a try. needless to say it was not very good. However I recently gave it a try again with my rebuilt motor and mods. I stomped on the gas from a go and lost traction and I kinda let up before I reached my mark(a mailbox), but just before I passed it I looked at my speedo an I was at about 92 MPH. Can you estimate what that would be for a 1/4 mile time. I know i wont know for sure until i go to the track but any one wanna guess?

my 289 runs a 15.2 at 97 mph, so your probly low to mid 15's. you would be supprised how incredibally inaccurate doing that is though, i marked off a 1/4 and timed it, was running like 15.7's but at the track and with a g-tec i can do like 15.2's. get a g-tec on ebay for like 50 bucks, they are really fun!
