I pretty sure some of u guys are running the mickey thompson et street slick(NOT the et street radial) on 17x8 I believe this is the specific one :

http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?lang=-1&catalogId=10002&storeId=10001&categoryId=15715&searchItemId=83853

if anyone can verify this it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I'm running the street tire - but I do believe that it is +/- 1" for the reccomended wheel width. So checkout the Mickey Thompson site for the specs and see if it works?

You have a GT and solid axle, so you can always get some 15's and throw on some slicks (I'm in the process of swapping back to solid axle for some better times than 12.5's hah)

Get a wheel with a huge backspace, or put hubcentric spacers on!

1. that is not a slick that is the ET Streets the bias ply street legal tire.
2. that is a 11.5 tire width I would not try to put those on a 17x8.

sorry does anyone run a "MT et street bias ply street legal tire" on a 17x8 rim Im pretty sure the majority of the people would know what im talking about when i say the et street slick. Also, it is recommended on a 9" wide rim just like a 275 bfg but they will fit on a 8" (oh and i know about sidewall buldge.) Just wanted to see if anyone was running with them.
