ever put locktight on main bolts?

No locktite on main bolts. 
Their was a thread on this a few months ago (may have been lost in the crash). At any rate, the summary was that you should use oil or whatever thread lubricant is specified so that you accurately torque your fasteners so they won't fail in fatigue (damned cyclic loading).
Now, if you want to locktite main studs into the block and then use oil on the exposed ends to torque the nuts, then be my guest because that won't effect the torque spec as the studs aren't supposed to spin in the block anyway.
