Ever see a car you've sold and wanna cry?

My first car was a white 1996 Dodge Intrepid. I loved that car and had many great memories in it... I shoplifted a v-card in there, ran to and from Canada before I was 21 while in college, etc... I sold it with 200K miles and it still looked brand new and ran like a champ (I got $2500 for it in 2004 :nice:). I had also installed a very nice stereo, I had a 4 channel amp powering Alpine Type R components in the front and rear, and a homemade sub box with a pioneer premier 12" sub. I also had one of the alpine 1.5 din head units that they no longer make. It was one of the better head units I've ever used. I really miss that car, it was a great road trip vehicle. I sold it to a Liberian at UND and would see it from time to time around campus. It went to chit very quickly after I sold it and made me kinda sad.

It's probably why I love my New Yorker so much... it's pretty much the same car with a different dash, body, and seats. Under the hood it still has the 3.5 SOHC 24 valve V-6, which sounds great and provides adequate power, and it rides/handles fairly well for being a 17 year old boat :D

Wait.. too far gone to save? you nuts? that car is the PERFECT project for someone looking for a solid 4 eye man!!!

For the third time.....VVVVV

Yeah, the whole roof's rotten.. pillars and all. It sat outside with a window open for years and now it's too late. I actually reaquired it for a little while thinking I would save it, but after pulling out the headliner and seeing how bad it was, I gave it back to the guy. He agreed to let me rob parts off of it if I ever need to.

You would literally have to cut the entire roof off and weld another on.
